RPMを用いた呼吸性移動管理について概説する。RPMは、呼吸による体表の動きを監視することで得られる
呼吸波形によって、4次元CTやX線透視、OBIといった各画像情報と、照射のタイミングを一致させて同期照射を
行う。非侵襲的、簡便かつ短時間での操作が可能であるため、様々な症例に適応できる。
The Varian Real-time Position Management system is a non-invasive, video-based system that permits
breathing-synchronized CT acquisition and fluoroscopy on a X-ray simulator, as well as gated treatment
on a linear accelerator. The RPM system is easy to use and fast. It is comfortable for the patient and
facilitates the treatment of lung, breast, and upper abdominal sites.
